Navy men’s basketball struggled through the non-conference portion of the schedule. While the Midshipmen only won three games, coach Ed DeChellis was hopeful playing so many games against top caliber competition would benefit his young, inexperienced squad come conference play. It appears the rigorous non-conference schedule did prepare the Midshipmen well for Patriot League opponents….
